I am a neuropsychologist and PhD candidate with a research interest in cognitive decline and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) analysis. My work in the lab focuses on the neuropsychological and neuropsychiatric assessment of patients with neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and related conditions. In parallel, I conduct advanced analyses of structural and functional MRI data using specialized software such as SPM12 within the MATLAB environment.
My current research places particular emphasis on early-onset Alzheimer’s disease and the potential efficacy of non-invasive neuromodulation techniques, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), to improve cognitive function. Within the multidisciplinary framework of the research group, I integrate longitudinal neuropsychological, neuroimaging, and blood-based biomarkers of neurodegeneration and neuroplasticity to better understand the mechanisms underlying cognitive decline and treatment response.
