Blood-based brain biomarkers

Home Research Blood-based brain biomarkers
We leverage cutting-edge ultrasensitive immunoassay platforms —including ELISA and Single Molecule Array (SIMOA) technology— to quantify a broad panel of blood-based brain biomarkers in serum and plasma samples. Our current analyses encompass markers of neuronal injury, glial reactivity, and synaptic integrity, including NfL, GFAP, BDNF, GDNF, S100B, Aβ40/42, BD-Tau, p-Tau217, and sTREM2, among others. These approaches allow us to integrate minimally invasive peripheral biomarker data with our neuroimaging and electrophysiological measures, supporting translational research in neurodegeneration and beyond.
